Dawn Huebner, PhD, is a Clinical Psychologist and Parent Coach specializing in anxiety. She is the author of 9 books for children including the perennial bestseller, What to Do When You Worry Too Much, and more recent, Outsmarting Worry. Dr. Huebner’s newest book, Something Bad Happened (due September 2019) provides support for children learning about ‘bad things’ happening in the world.
Ten years ago, Dr. Huebner recognized the need for lively, easy-to-read materials to help children practice the cognitive-behavioral strategies they were learning in her office. Her newest books maintain her distinctive clarity and gentle humor while adding a layer of sophistication appreciated by older children and teens.
